Those words make me breathe too fast and my spine stiffen. How has this day become such a circus? And why? The deals aren't always that great. Or at least not great enough to camp outside a store Thanksgiving night and pee in a potted plant. I mean I think I'd rather sleep in, pay the extra $5.00, pee in my own potty, and have access to toilet paper. thankyouverymuch.
I will say that I do understand SOMETIMES you can find things at a big discount. I have gone once to get a small, somewhat expensive, electronic thing for one of my boys. Got it for roughly half off. Which wasn't half bad. However, getting up at 4am and taking an elbow to the ear to get into Wal-Mart (for God's sake!) was not worth the savings.
I also don't get the people who bring ALL their kids with them either. I'm not talking the big middle-schoolers who act as defensive ends while trying to break through the rush when the doors open. I'm talking the babies in car seats and the little guys who are like 5 and 6. There will be 4 adults and 23 children. All running in opposite directions, dipes sagging, noses running, wailing, dragging their blankies, hungry and freakin TIRED. Dontcha think at least 2 of those adults could have stayed home with all the kids and given theirs lists to the others. Huh? MAYBE?! Sonova! Now there's an idea!! Where the hell is the logic in that mess? I'm kinda thinking CPS should set up shop outside and just pick them off as they go in. That would sure thin the crowds out for the real shoppers.
Can't stand Black Friday. Is it obvious?
